Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Human Resources, you'll support and lead innovative people and talent initiatives that empower employees and align with our strategic goals. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for supporting and leading project work, conducting HR data analytics to inform go-forward priorities, drafting professional written communication and training materials, and supporting important data collection and administrative tasks.  

 

You will add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: 

 

Executing HR program development projects that address the evolving needs of our business and manufacturing workforce 

Developing professional presentations and other communication materials for HR and Operations business partners, utilizing excellent written communication and data visualization skills 

Conducting research and internal scans to identify best practices, making thoughtful recommendations that drive continuous improvement within the HR function 

Providing, and critically analyzing, internal and external HR data for the purpose of identifying trends, process improvement opportunities and to inform go-forward initiatives  

Facilitating the creation of HR training materials 

Other duties as assigned 

 

Important Details: This is a full time, permanent role based in Oak Brook, Illinois on a hybrid schedule (three days in the office). Internal candidates outside of the Oak Brook, Illinois area may be considered. 

 

About You: 

You’ll fit right in if you have: 

 

One to three years of Human Resources experience with a specific focus in project coordination and written communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience 

Experience within a manufacturing environment highly preferred 

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline highly preferred 

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility in shifting priorities and managing multiple projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy and effectiveness 

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail 

Exceptional written communication skills
