Human Resources Generalist
Description: HR Generalist - Manufacturing Environment Position Overview: The HR Generalist will support the daily operations of the HR department in a manufacturing setting. This role involves managing workforce compliance, safety regulations, and labor relations to ensure a productive and legally compliant workplace. Key Responsibilities: + Recruitment and Onboarding: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates. + Conduct interviews, and onboarding processes. + Create and manage onboarding plans to integrate new hires effectively. + Employee Relations: Address employee grievances and resolve workplace conflicts. + Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives. + Conduct regular meetings with employees to understand their concerns and feedback. + Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. + Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures. + Conduct safety training and audits to maintain a safe working environment. + Training and Development : Identify training needs and coordinate training programs. + Develop career development plans and succession planning. + Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. + Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal systems and provide feedback. + Assist in setting performance goals and objectives. + Manage disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans. + Compensation and Benefits: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. + Conduct salary surveys and job evaluations to ensure competitive compensation. + Manage payroll processing and resolve payroll issues. + HR Administration: Maintain employee records and HR databases. + Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review. + Develop and update HR policies and procedures. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. + 2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. + Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
