Job Title: Human Resources Generalist Job Description Our client is a 160-bed acute care community hospital serving more than 130,000 residents of the Lower Naugatuck Valley Region. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University and is accredited by The Joint Commission. Reports to: HR Director Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, 40 hours a week, ONSITE EVERYDAY HR Dept. Size: 5 Overall Employee Size: 2,000 ATS: UKG, Indeed, Social Media Position Summary: This position will support the HR Department in the areas of Employee Relations, Recruitment, Talent Management, and Program Development. Responsibilities include investigating employee complaints, managing complex employee relations issues, providing HR policy guidance, and supporting recruitment processes. The role involves identifying and creating HR practices and objectives that promote an employee-oriented, high-performance culture emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards. Additional duties include researching and submitting compliance responses and developing programs or action plans to maintain a positive, inclusive work environment. Hard Skills + Full Cycle Recruitment: handling 40-50 requisitions at a given time within Radiology & Nursing + Employee Relations: prior experience preferred, support needed on a case-by-case basis + Overall Generalist Experience: familiarity with FMLA, HRIS, benefits, etc. Soft Skills + Effective communication + Problem-solving + Team collaboration + Customer service orientation + Confidentiality and professionalism Job Type This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Months Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Derby, Connecticut.
