This is a remote/ Hybrid positionProvide policy and procedure guidance and interpretation to employees and operations. Update policies and procedures as needed to improve the employee experience and add to the efficiency of HR and the business.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.Coordinate open enrollment, employee changes, and training for employee benefits programs.Assist in the administration of the benefits, compensation and performance management programs.Partner with Payroll as needed in the processing of payroll or unique payroll related situations.Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.Take an active role in new employee on-boarding and orientation.Partner with Employee Engagement in the development and maintenance of the talent management processes.Monitor employee morale and company culture and make recommendations as needed.Collaborate with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment strategies.At the direction of the Manager of People and Culture, review and assist in the investigation of claims of sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and any necessary corrective and/or disciplinary actions.Maintain employee personnel records.Conduct exit interviews. Determine trends and needed action.Handle the Leave of Absence process in the HRIS system, including initial paperwork, tracking and follow up with impacted employees and management. Demonstrated knowledge of all human resources functionsWorking knowledge and understanding of state and federal employment regulationsAwareness of OSHA regulations and complianceWorking knowledge of personnel and compliance records management3-5 years human resources experience in a generalist roleExperience with HRMS/HRIS systems. Working knowledge of Paylocity a plusExpert proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred though not required.
