Location: Owatonna, MN – In Office

 

What you will do: 

Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.\ Develops policies and procedures for and supports the Foreign National employees as a business partner. Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions. Maintains records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting and Affirmative Action Plans. Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment. Researches training programs, as requested by managers or as required for Corporate-wide training. Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Administers performance review program for the groups/departments to which incumbent is assigned, to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Administers salary administration program for the groups/departments to which the incumbent is assigned, to ensure compliance and equity within organization. Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews for the groups/departments to which the incumbent is assigned, to determine reasons behind separations.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or equivalent degree. 5+ years related experience and/or training Proficient in Microsoft Suite PHR or SHRM Certification preferred Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
