PURPOSE            

According to the prescribed policies and procedures of the organization including all applicable federal, state and local regulations and under the general supervision of the Manager of Talent Operations, the incumbent will primarily provide employee relations expertise and other human resources support services to maximize the effectiveness of HR processes that promote the organization’s strategic objectives. The incumbent will be responsible for managing various aspects of employee relations, including case management, performance management, policy interpretation, and investigations, while also assisting with projects that promote employee retention, engagement and foster a positive work culture.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Employee Relations: Handle employee relations issues with front line leaders, including employee engagement, performance management, coaching, corrective actions and conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Partner with HRBP and COE's as necessary.

HR Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, alleged code of conduct / policy violations or alleged misconduct. Document findings and recommend appropriate actions based on company policies and legal requirements.

HR Data Management: Maintain HR data, track investigations and employee relations case files, and generate reports as needed. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee records and confidentiality of sensitive information. Develop and analyze reports to provide statistical data on employee information related to turnover, service, compensation, training, etc.

Employee Engagement: In partnership with other COEs, assist client leaders to develop and implement employee engagement strategies to foster a positive work culture. Support the annual employee engagement survey, analyze results for assigned areas, and propose actions to improve engagement and retention.

HR Policy and Compliance: Assist in the development and update of HR policies and procedures, in partnership with Senior Director, Human Resources as needed. Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding company policies, procedures, and employment laws. Interpret policies and provide guidance on compliance.

Unemployment: Partner with HRBP, venders and operation leaders with reviewing and analyzing unemployment claims and program documents. Overseeing coordination of hearing prep, filing and follow up on any additional documentation required.HR Projects: Support and participate in HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion efforts, and HR process improvements. Assist with various HR projects and initiatives, such as HR system implementations, organizational restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions as assigned

Education:           Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience required. Human Resources professional designation/certification preferred.

Experience:         At least three (3) years of work experience in a related job discipline required.  Previous employee relations experience highly preferred.

Mental:               Must have excellent communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.  Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English, as well as the ability to make self-understood.

Skills:                   Must have good working computer skills with basic professional computer software (Microsoft Office suite, Windows, etc.) and the capacity for learning new software systems quickly.  Must have strong skills in relationship management, business acumen, coaching, influencing, organizational design, and organizational agility.

Travel:                 Up to 50%

Licensure:            Driver’s License
