General Duties:
Assist in coordinating Staffing and Recruitment processes, including onboarding, exit interviews, data entry in UKG (HRIS system), and audits for accuracy and compliance. Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues and concerns, providing guidance and support to employees and managers. Assist with investigations into employee complaints or conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies. Provide a dedicated and effective advisory service to associates that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and other employee-relations matters. Reinforce company policies, rules, and procedures to ensure associates’ safety and well-being. Recommend and develop employee relations practices to foster positive associate-employed relations. Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including weekly updates to associate files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/personal time off pay, expense reimbursements, hourly associate validations, and benefits changes. Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the associate handbook and property P&C Standard Operating Procedures and contribute to policy development. Assist in organizing and managing hard and digital copies of associate records. Assist in updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements and conducting investigations.Employment standards:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or a related field, HR certification a plus. Proven success in an HR department. Knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems Knowledge of national laws and regulations related to employment. PHR certification a plus. Requires a working knowledge of Word, Excel, and other business management software programs and systems. Requires a high degree of perceptiveness and ability to relate to individuals at all levels. Requires a high degree of confidentiality. Excellent problem-solving and analysis ability. Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have a neat and pleasant overall appearance. Comprehend reading materials, speak, read, and write English. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.Physical & Mental Requirements:
