Human Resources Generalist
Description Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with a Syracuse client of his that is going through an insane amount of growth. One of the newly created roles this growing company has is a Human Resources Generalist. Reporting into the head of HR, this role will involve a bit of everything and be a great position to take your career to the next level (and a position that will look great on your resume). The selected candidate will be a crucial contributor to the daily operations of the HR department, tackling a variety of HR tasks. The role encompasses recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll and compliance, all while supporting a positive and productive workplace culture. Responsibilities will change over time as you grow and the company continues to grow and can include: • Helping with the recruitment process, including the creation and posting of job openings, candidate screening, and conducting interviews. • Successfully manage onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new employees into the team. • Act as a contact point for employees, adeptly handling concerns, and resolving workplace issues in accordance with company policies. • Assist in the creation of a positive work environment by implementing conflict resolution strategies, organizing team-building activities, and initiating employee engagement programs. • Maintain strict adherence to local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations. • Regularly update employee records, handbooks, and HR policies to comply with legal requirements and best practices. • Provide assistance with processing of payroll • Efficiently manage open enrollment and keep all benefits-related documentation up-to-date.
