We’re looking for aHuman Resources Generalistto join our team and play a pivotal role in managing the daily functions of our Human Resources Department. Key Responsibilities As a Human Resources Generalist, you will: + Maintain and update our Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and generate reports as needed. + Address internal and external employment-related inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. + Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, communication, and issue resolution. + Manage employee leaves of absence and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. + Lead the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, background checks, and access setup, ensuring a smooth transition. + Collaborate with HR and organizational teams to disseminate communications and support company initiatives. + Partner with leadership to drive organizational change and continuous improvement efforts. + Provide direct support to the VP of HR, gaining exposure to various HR functions and experiences. + Coordinate employee training and development programs in collaboration with the Manager of Learning and Development. + Assist the Safety & Risk Manager with safety program support and record management. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have: + A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. + 0-2 years of Human Resources experience. + A solid understanding of employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, ERISA, and COBRA/HIPAA. + A commitment to delivering exceptional service to employees. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. + Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks under deadlines. + Confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive information responsibly. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and the ability to learn new HR software applications. + Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment. + A proactive, results-oriented approach and a willingness to innovate. + A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to other office locations as needed.
