Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join a corporate office. This role will require the incumbent to handle various aspects of the HR function, including talent acquisition, payroll processing, and policy administration. Additionally, the HR Generalist will be expected to provide support to employees and management on HR-related topics, including benefit administration, strategic staffing plans, and other special initiatives. This role is a high growth opportunity. Seeking a candidate who can come in and own the role. Reports directly to the VP of Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
• Handle all aspects of the recruitment process, including managing open requisitions, advertising open positions, and coordinating interviews
• Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of the HRIS system
• Conduct orientations and assist in onboarding activities
• Process multi-state payrolls and maintain associated records
• Provide support during internal and external audits related to payroll, worker’s compensation, corporate and benefit plans
• Assist in coordinating open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs
• Act as a liaison with all benefit carriers
• Maintain and process personnel files and records
• Handle unemployment, workers compensation, and disability claims
• Stay updated on federal and state employment law and compliance requirements
• Protect the interests of employees and the organization in line with our Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations
• Undertake other related duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
+ 2+ years of experience in a HR capacity
+ Bachelor's degree REQUIRED
