Job Title: Human Resource Generalist\n

Summary:\n

We are looking for a motivated and driven Plant HR Generalist to join our team. The Human Resources Generalist manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office. Talent Acquisition is a big part of this position, so the Plant HR Generalist must have exceptional communication skills, and experience developing recruiting processes and resources.\n

The Plant HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment and selection, employee relations, training, benefits management, safety, payroll, and data entry functions. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who can relate to individuals at all levels within the organization.\n

Responsibilities include all aspects of Human Resource functions, such as but are not limited to:\n\nTalent recruiting and retention.\nDrive recruiting and onboarding efforts for all non-exempt positions, to include utilizing creative methods to build candidate sources, create recruitment plans for all positions, conduct interviews, handle pre-employment processes, and new hire orientations.\nMaintains employee records in Human Resource Information System (HRIS), including new hires, transfers, terminations, job classification changes, and tracking paid time off, etc. Perform data entry.\nAssist with FMLA administration.\nEmployee relations.\nCompany-wide events facilitation.\nCompany employee communication.\nBenefits administration.\nRecords management.\nHandle unemployment claims.\nPayroll Processing.\nMaintain confidentiality.\nAdminister Safety and Worker's Compensation\nPerform other related HR or administrative duties as required.\n\n

Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree or higher in Human Resource Management, business, or related field.\nMinimum of 3 years of HR or similar experience is required.\nWell-versed in all areas of HR compliance including EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.\nExperience with recruiting at all levels, utilization of online and other recruiting tools, and applicant tracking systems.\nIntermediate knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.\nIntermediate knowledge of UKG (formerly Ulti Pro) HRIS system preferred.\nStrong multi-tasking, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.\nAttention to detail and experience handling sensitive and confidential information.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and see projects through to completion.\nAbility to work in a team manufacturing environment.\n\n
