Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role will be responsible for consulting and coaching leaders in all employee related matters. You will handle a diverse portfolio which will include employee relations, performance management and support and administration of HR projects.
Responsibilities:Performance Management & Employee Relations – partner with internal clients to provide exceptional HR consulting. Provide policy interpretation and handle employee relations issues through diagnosis and risk assessment through to resolution.Coaching & Consulting – apply HR policies and practices to provide direction, support and guidance on employee matters. Proactively engage clients on employee initiatives through monthly and ad hoc touch points.Reporting and Analytics – analyze HR data and prepare monthly reports to be shared with business leaders.Requirements:2-3 years Human Resources Generalist and employee relations experiencePost-secondary diploma in Human Resources or related program of studyKnowledge of applicable Human Resources legislation and strategies for complianceStrong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task is requiredAbility to coordinate daily tasks and ongoing projects effectively and efficiently within specified timeframesAbility to solve problems in an analytical, tactful and objective manner; strong decision-making skillsAbility to function well in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment while remaining positive and focusedEffective communication (both verbal and written) is requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and VisioStrong customer focus for both internal and external partners; ability to build strong relationships with business partnersAbility to work independently and within a team environmentAbility to work with confidential and personal information discreetly and professionally
