Eaton’s Electrical Systems & Services Group, Power Systems Division (PSD) has an opening for a Human Resource Generalist. This position is located in Waukesha, WI at Lincoln Ave.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.

What you’ll do:The HR Generalist will be supporting the site HR Manager. The Human Resources Generalist will provide HR support to a manufacturing plant consisting of salaried and hourly employees across various organizational functions. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to Talent Acquisition and Development, Onboarding, Employee Relations, and Coaching. This role will have visibility and interaction with the PSD Division Leadership Team.
In this role you will:
• Responsible for employee lifecycle processes.
• Leads recruitment activities, including requisition processing, coordinating interview scheduling, participating in interviews, providing feedback, collaborating with hiring managers on selecting candidates, and extending offers.
• Maintains regular communication with candidates during the background check and drug screen process through verbal and written correspondence.
• Manages new hire orientation and assists with benefits enrollment processes.
• Monitors employment for contingent personnel with Randstad.
• Leads outreach efforts by promoting and maintaining relationships with civic and educational institutions.
• Assists in the development of the Affirmative Action Plan and related reports/documentation.
• Provides counsel and support to resolve interpersonal conflicts and employee relations issues.
• Coordinates various Plant Engagement, Recognition, Wellness Programs, and events.
• Assists plant positive employee relations/community involvement initiatives.
• Conducts general or specific training sessions where needed based upon needs.
• Deploy and support all HR initiatives, programs, processes, and systems as required and assigned.
• Ensure integrity in all HR systems with timely and accurate data entry and frequent audits.
• Responsible for running and creating reports, analyzing information, and providing data for the Human Resources Manager
• Maintains and administer the sites payroll and time & attendance processes.
• Conducts, under the HRM’s supervision, investigations on employee relations matters.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management / Industrial / Labor Relations/ or related field
• One (1) year of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
• Three (3) years of experience using Microsoft applications and Outlook
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation assistance will be provided for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
Preferred Qualifications:
• PHR certification
• Experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with large ramp up of business in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
• Specialized knowledge of the interpretation of laws, regulations and standards, and enforcement agencies for equal employment opportunities, safety, wage and hour, unemployment, workers’ compensation and labor law.
• Coaching/Facilitation/Conflict Management skills
• Knowledge of current Federal and State labor/employment laws
• Ability to process confidential information in a professional manner
