Description Our client, a leading higher education institution in Oceanside, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage a wide range of human resources functions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in employee relations, compliance, and recruitment, all while upholding the organization’s mission and values. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee employee relations, offering guidance and support to staff and management. + Coordinate full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding. + Ensure compliance with HR policies and state/federal employment laws. + Manage employee benefits enrollment and address benefit-related queries. + Assist with performance management and employee development programs. + Collaborate with leadership to implement HR initiatives and improve overall employee engagement. Requirements + 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role. + Working knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices. + Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. + Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. + Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred. + HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
