Description
Our client, a leading higher education institution in Oceanside, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage a wide range of human resources functions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in employee relations, compliance, and recruitment, all while upholding the organization’s mission and values. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an inspiring academic environment!
Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee employee relations, offering guidance and support to staff and management.
+ Coordinate full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
+ Ensure compliance with HR policies and state/federal employment laws.
+ Manage employee benefits enrollment and address benefit-related queries.
+ Assist with performance management and employee development programs.
+ Collaborate with leadership to implement HR initiatives and improve overall employee engagement.
Requirements
+ 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
+ Working knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
+ Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
+ Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
+ HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
