Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
Job Description

The HR Generalist position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in HR operations, including payroll processing, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration.

ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Handle payroll-related inquiries, discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner.Prepare and submit payroll reports and audits, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.Set up payroll accounts with state authorities, working closely with ADP if necessary, to ensure compliance with state-specific requirements.Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, LTD/STD, and 401(k) plans.Coordinate open enrollment processes and ensure employees are informed of benefit options.Manage benefit plan enrollments, changes, and terminations through ADP Workforce Now & Fidelity.Resolve employee benefits-related issues and liaise with benefits providers as needed.Maintain and update employee records in ADP Workforce Now, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Assist in recruitment processes, including onboarding and orientation of new hires.Support employee relations by addressing issues and resolving conflicts.Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.Prepare and file necessary compliance reports, such as EEO-1, ACA, and other regulatory filings.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends, best practices, and legal changes.Serve as a point of contact for employees on HR-related matters.Provide guidance on company policies, benefits, and payroll-related inquiries.Conduct employee trainings and support HR initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.Essential Skills3-5+ years in HRExperience with full cycle payroll - multi-state - exempt and non-exemptProficiency in benefits administrationExperience with open enrollment processesKnowledge of 401(k) plansStrong employee relations skillsExperience with leave of absence managementProficiency in ADP Workforce NowOnboarding and recruitment experience is a plusAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in handling FMLAUnderstanding of retirement benefitsFlexibility to adapt to changeKind-hearted and hard-working personalityWillingness to learn and grow within the companyWork Environment

The company is owned by a private equity firm and is in full growth mode, having recently moved to a larger building to expand their team. The ideal candidate will be flexible to change and willing to go with the flow. The company culture values honesty, loyalty, and investing in people, with a focus on growth and promoting from within. The role will report directly to the VP of Global HR and work closely with the HR Generalist and other team members. The work hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
