Human Resources (HR) Analyst - Hybrid
Role Summary: As a Human Resources Analyst at Crunch Fitness, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing compensation and benefits strategies with the use of data to support the process. Your expertise in compensation analysis will be critical for timely and accurate data processing. Additionally, you will ensure seamless onboarding processes and provide essential support to payroll activities.    Reporting Relationship:  Role reports to the Vice President, People & Culture.   Travel Required:  Light travel for relationship-building purposes if needed.   Location:  New York, NY with a Hybrid 3 days in/2 days remote Schedule available.   Responsibilities:

Compensation and Benefits Conduct comprehensive analyses of compensation and benefits data from various sources, benchmarking against industry standards, geographic locations, and revenue metrics. Performing monthly reconciliation and allocation of benefit invoices, including FSA, HSA, and Commuter Benefits. Prepare detailed reports and presentations in Excel and PowerPoint with findings and/or recommendations as needed.   Continuously work to improve business processes to increase output and efficiency. Addressing employee questions regarding Crunch benefits, including leave, insurance plans, disability programs, FMLA, sick leave, and vacation options. Ensure timely and accurate payments to benefit vendors and government agencies. Provide documentation on compensation, benefits, and reporting procedures that ultimately enhance understanding of analytics. Preparing employee census and related reporting. Compliance Stay updated with career development trainings on topics like Pay Transparency and Making Impactful Presentations and share knowledge with the team. Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and union employment laws and regulations related to benefits. HRIS; Data Management; Support of Payroll Conduct regular analysis of HR metrics to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate HR data in various systems, including HRIS, benefit vendor portals, and government websites. Generate and analyze HRIS reports on employee demographics, new hires, terminations, hours, salaries, bonuses, and benefits. Process accurate changes to employee positions, salaries, locations, and statuses in the HRIS. Create new positions in the HRIS to support strategic decisions regarding company and departmental structure. Support payroll manager with timely and accurate processing in the HRIS system of new hires, terminations, transfers, pay changes, tax updates, and entry of time off requests. Providing support to payroll as guided by the payroll manager, updating payroll systems based on weekly audits. Resolving routine issues related to employment paperwork and UKG processes in a professional, courteous, and solutions-oriented manner. Assisting in other HR-related duties as assigned by management based on business and departmental needs. Qualifications, Capabilities, and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in compensation and benefits analysis. Previous experience in HRIS management and timekeeping systems. Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws. Proficient in Excel, including V-lookups, Pivot Tables, and formulas. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Proficiency in HRIS systems and HR analytics tools is preferred. Experience in the fitness industry or a similar field is highly desirable. Ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Time management and prioritization; ability to establish urgency of tasks and multi-task under pressure.
