Human Resources (HR) Assistant
Description We are on the lookout for a dedicated REMOTE Human Resources (HR) Assistant to be a part of our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Stamford, Connecticut. In this role, you will be accountable for managing and supporting various HR-related tasks, such as handling employee relations, creating policies, and maintaining accurate records. This role is a MATERNITY LEAVE COVERAGE ONLY TILL MAY 2025. Responsibilities: • Address and resolve employee relations issues in collaboration with managers and senior field leaders. • Take the lead in conducting thorough employee investigations and document the findings. • Assist managers and senior field leaders in crafting and reviewing corrective actions and performance improvement plans. • Ensure the upkeep and update of Lovesac policies, procedures, and manuals as required. • Effectively manage cases and enter investigation summaries and notes into EthicsPoint. • Play a crucial role in supporting all governance efforts within the organization. • Demonstrate flexibility in performing any other reasonable duties for this role as requested by management. Requirements • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required. • Previous experience in Human Resources or administrative roles is preferred. • Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) Administration is vital. • Demonstrable skills in Administrative Assistance are necessary. • Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word. • High level of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
