Human Resources (HR) Manager
Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Rockland County, New York. As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating various functions such as recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration. Responsibilities: • Facilitate the annual open enrollment process for employees • Handle employee relations matters to ensure a positive and supportive workplace • Administer employee benefits in compliance with company policies and procedures • Use ADP Workforce Now to manage HR tasks and maintain employee records • Leverage communication skills to resolve employee inquiries and issues • Utilize recruiting skills to attract and hire dealership staff, car salespeople, service advisors, and accounting personnel • Implement effective strategies to improve employee relations • Manage the use of Benefit Functions to ensure employee satisfaction and compliance • Oversee the recruiting process, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and making hiring decisions • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws related to employee benefits, compensation, and other HR matters. Requirements • Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now is required • Must have a strong understanding of Benefit Functions • Excellent Communication skills are essential • Experience in handling Employee Relations is crucial • Knowledge and experience in Open Enrollment processes are needed • Proven track record in Recruiting is a must • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred • Prior experience in a managerial role within Human Resources is desirable • Strong organizational and time management skills are required • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion is essential • Must be adaptable and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions are needed • Proficiency in using HR software and computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite is required • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and cross-functional relationships.
