Description Robert Half Management Resources is currently working on an interim HR Manager role for an Education services client in Columbus, OH. This role will provide broad HR Management and compliance support to the organization's Columbus office. Role includes HR Compliance items working with the Ohio Department of Education, employee onboarding, contractor onboarding and coordination, employee relations, and worker's compensation. Role is expected to last a few months. This is a hands-on Manager role, handling all HR related items for the Columbus location. Role is based primarily onsite at the client's location in Columbus. Responsibilities: • Manage the compliance element of our HR department, ensuring we meet the requirements set by the Department of Education. • Remediate employee files, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date. • Handle the scanning and uploading of paper forms into our data platform. • Oversee the management of employee injuries and workers' compensation claims. • Track and manage background checks for all employees. • Manage HRIS (UKG), ensuring all employee data is accurately entered and maintained. • Handle a limited amount of invoice entries in Concur. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role • Demonstrated proficiency in using Data Platform • Experience with Workers Compensation and related processes • In-depth knowledge of HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems • Strong understanding of HR Compliance and regulations • Proven skills in managing HRIS Database • Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) Administration • Experience in conducting Background Checks Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
