Human Resources (HR) Manager
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager in Santa Barbara, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and overseeing legal staff recruitment processes, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and fostering a positive culture in the workplace. Responsibilities: + Supervise the full recruitment lifecycle, including the onboarding and offboarding of staff and attorneys. + Oversee benefits administration and coordinate with the accounting department to facilitate accurate and efficient payroll processing. + Manage employee timekeeping and attendance records, ensuring all entries are precise and current. + Organize and lead training programs along with conducting performance evaluations to encourage continuous professional growth. + Ensure compliance with HR policies, organizational procedures, and applicable employment laws. + Maintain detailed, up-to-date personnel files for all employees. + Provide firm-wide staffing coverage to guarantee all shifts and roles are adequately filled. + Spearhead community outreach efforts to strengthen organizational reputation and broaden engagement. + Cultivate a positive workplace culture, emphasizing teamwork, cooperation, and shared success.
