Human Resources (HR) Manager
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager in the financial services industry. Located in Nassau County, the HR Manager will play a crucial role in developing HR strategies, managing compliance across multiple states, fostering a positive workplace culture, scaling HR infrastructure, and providing strategic leadership and collaboration. Responsibilities: • Develop HR strategies to support business growth, focusing on effective recruitment, retention, and succession planning mechanisms across multiple states. • Ensure company-wide compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, specifically in the areas of payroll practices, benefits administration, and employee relations. • Cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace environment that encourages team engagement, personal development, and collaboration across states. • Design and implement HR policies, processes, and systems to scale with the company's growth, including onboarding, performance management, and training programs. • Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, leveraging HR insights to inform organizational decision-making and problem-solving. • Efficiently process customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit records. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed. • Leverage skills in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now to enhance efficiency in HR processes. • Oversee and manage all aspects of employee relations and communication and keep all licensing up to date. • Streamline hiring processes to ensure the recruitment of highly detail-oriented individuals. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is crucial for managing the financial aspects of human resources operations. • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is required to effectively manage workforce administration. • Demonstrable understanding of Benefit Functions is necessary to ensure the welfare of the organization's employees. • Excellent Communication skills are essential to facilitate clear dialogue between management, HR department, and staff. • A firm understanding of Compliance regulations and practices is needed to ensure the organization adheres to all relevant labor laws and internal policies. • Strong skills in Employee Relations are vital for maintaining a positive work environment and addressing any staff concerns or disputes. • Experience in Hiring Processes is required to recruit, interview, and onboard new employees effectively.
