As a member of the Martin’s family, the HR Intern is responsible for maintaining satisfied clients by delivering assistance and administrative support to the HR Team on various projects.
Summary: The HR Intern is responsible for maintaining satisfied clients by delivering assistance and administrative support to the HR Team on various projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs research and develops solutions to assigned projects and tasks related to the HR function. Tracks progress, deadlines and priorities of all projects assigned.
Learns the operations aspects of the facility and how HR supports the operation.
Assets HR team in on-boarding new employees, developing new programs, and increasing employee communications with the facility.
Performs process analysis for current HR processes and procedures. Suggests potential alternatives to improve efficiency and timeliness; i.e. Oracle system utilization.
Supports recruiting process by posting advertisements, receiving applications and resumes.
Tactical duties as needed; i.e. filing, distribution, department communications, etc.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED;
Currently attending accredited institution majoring in HR Management or Business Administration .
Computer Skills:
Knowledge of Human Resource Information systems.
Internet.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.
Time keeping software.
Electronic mail.
Purchasing system.
