Human Resources Intern
Veritiv’s Internship Program will provide real world experience, team projects, social events, volunteer work and professional development trainings. The internships are full-time, hybrid and run June 2 to August 8, 2025.

Job Purpose:

As a Human Resources Intern, you will learn all facets of the HR work cycle and perform work in a variety of areas providing support to Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning and Development and other HR related areas.

Job Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with multiple internal customers on projects and presentations.
● Identify opportunities to streamline process improvements.
● Take ownership of a project and then assist other team members to support company initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

In this role, you will be working closely with key leaders on a variety of projects which could include:
•    Support multiple projects to deliver timely results on Human Resources initiatives like turnover analysis with recommended actions, training and development tools and competitive analysis research.
•    Learn about the Talent Acquisition recruiting process and source, screen and recruit qualified individuals for specific open positions.
•    Create Talent Acquisition marketing and social media strategies
•    Support multiple projects to deliver results on Talent Development initiatives such as Career Mapping, Talent Review, Performance Check-Ins.
•    Assist with the execution of HR programs including the summer intern program, employee engagement initiatives and new hire orientation
•    Engage in competitive market analysis of compensation and total rewards practices
•    Support the administration of benefit related activities determining eligibility and implementation
•    Pursuing a Business Administration degree preferred. 
•    Strong leadership and project management skills

Work Experience:

● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.● Ability to work in a team environment.● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.● Must be highly motivated, flexible and deadline driven.● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.● Strong planning and organization skills are required.● Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.● The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

● Bachelor's Degree In Progress
