Position Summary:

The HR Intern will provide support to the Human Resources team in a variety of key areas, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful projects that enhance organizational efficiency and employee satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about learning the fundamentals of Human Resources while contributing to a positive workplace culture. This position is designed to provide valuable exposure to HR practices and help develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

Assist in posting job openings on various platforms and screening resumes. Schedule interviews and coordinate communication with candidates. Support the onboarding process, including preparing orientation materials and ensuring new hire documentation is complete.

Employee Engagement & Development:

Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, training sessions, and workshops. Contribute ideas to enhance employee satisfaction and workplace culture.

HR Administration:

Maintain and update employee records in HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality. Support payroll, benefits administration, and compliance documentation. Assist in drafting and reviewing HR policies and procedures.

Performance Management:

Help coordinate performance review schedules and maintain related documentation. Assist in collecting and analyzing feedback from employees and managers.

Research & Projects:

Conduct research on HR best practices and contribute ideas for process improvement.

This is not a remote position.

Must Have:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Basic understanding of labor laws and HR principles. Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Good to have:

Knowledge of HR software and tools is a plus.

Salary Range: This position pays $20/hr
