During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time. **Position Purpose:** Learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business. + Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore various career opportunities + Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects + Communicate project status and results to staff mentors and management + Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industry + Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies **Role Responsibilities:** + Engage in project activities with oversight of critical deliverables and milestone accomplishments. + Operate within given timelines and perform strong time management skills in order to execute tasks. + Align our work with Centene's core values and mission driven approach. + Self starter, taking ideas and running with them while practicing strong communication and reporting throughout. + General understanding of Human Resources and comfort in presenting updates, findings, and accomplishments. The salary range is: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, degree program, degree level, number of years of participation in the internship program, and other job-related factors permitted by law **Experience/Experience:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent undergraduate coursework completed. Must be enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited university or college in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
