Co-op for HR IT ERP

This position is part of HR IT team and is responsible for using IT tools to enable, automate and drive HR business processes. The position will require a strong analytical mindset and realize opportunities in our current processes and systems.  This is an exciting opportunity to impact Skyworks’ global system in collaboration with fellow IT and HR team members.

Responsibilities: Understand end-to-end employee life cycle of diverse Skyworks employee base and map it to our resilient IT systems to enhance digital employee experience. Work with IT support team to get an overview of HR IT support functions in fast-paced environment and understand collaboration between IT and various Business units. Works closely with HR Technology and HRIT counterparts on integration issues, process redesign, and overall HR Architecture. Stays up to date on upcoming releases and patches, as well as support system upgrades or changes to improve our IT systems setup and the user experience. Identify HR business system solution requirements by interacting with HR business, analyzing work processes and policies, preparing specifications, and configuring system to meet business needs. Perform unit testing and regression testing for the configuration changes and document the results. Understand payroll process including Tax calculations, Garnishments, benefits, off-cycle payrolls, and integration of payroll with other systems. Gather payroll data to perform analytics and reporting. Create and maintain employee data in SuccessFactors cloud system. Understand and monitor the flow of employee data to various vendors/third party systems. Qualifications: Current junior or senior pursuing graduate degree within the area of Human Resources, Information Technology, or a similar field Preferred Skills A passion for technology and a strong interest in optimizing the user experience. Good team player with excellent written and verbal communication, organization, documentation, and presentation skills Inquisitive mindset to research and learn. Proactive in finding solutions with strong desire to fix problems. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
