Human Resources M&A Senior Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The HR MA Sr Manager is responsible for leading HR due diligence, integration planning, and execution for new entities joining Medline. This individual owns and refines the HR MA playbook and intentional evolution and collaboration cross-functionally for effective diligence and integration work. This role entails significant project management and team coordination work, including with global teams.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and lead detailed project management plans to support the successful completion of all HR acquisition milestones and activities from due diligence through employee onboarding and integration.

Apply HR knowledge and experience to design, develop, and deliver key integration results, including diligence reports, integration plans, management presentations, onboarding materials, and employee communications.

Operate as the primary HR liaison on various deal teams. As potential deals are moved through the MA pipeline, this role will help identify various HR dependencies, risks, and stakeholders. This role will facilitate problem solving efforts and solution design, and will escalate for evaluation and consideration where appropriate.

Manage sensitive employee demographic and compensation data from initial collection through uploading to HR systems.

Partner with a virtual and extended team to ensure HR integration plans are delivered consistently across the globe, in compliance with local processes and policies, and with a focus on delivering a seamless and engaging employee experience.

Depending on deal volume and complexity, may focus on one or more concurrent deals, or multiple integration tracks within a larger deal.

Lead the scoping, design and build of infrastructure support and related tools for the HR MA team, including integration playbook, offer templates, communication pieces, reporting, and budgets.

Work on process improvement projects both inside and outside of MA context. Partner with HR cross-functional teams in developing and evolving our HR MA playbook and systems.

Identify and advise on opportunities, risks, and trends related to HR MA while developing action plans to help us continuously improve and evolve our integration approach.

This is a high-level individual contributor role - management responsibilities limited to leading day-to-day activities and outcomes of a group of employees.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.

Certification / Licensure

None required.

Work Experience

At least 8 years overall, progressive related experience in large, global companies.

Experience managing multiple projects with highly-matrixed stakeholders and staff.

Experience developing partnerships with senior management and influencing key business decisions.

Experience using HR ERP technology such as Oracle, Workday or SAP/SuccessFactors.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Demonstrated understanding of the laws and regulations that affect human resources generally and employee benefits in particular.

Critical thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data drawn from multiple sources to find problems and make effective decisions.

Demonstrated skill with building and utilizing project management tools.

Ability to lead others past their comfort zone(s) and creates a sense of urgency and speed.

Strong business and financial acumen.
