Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is currently hiring a Human Resources Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within the Engineering HR organization. This leadership opportunity is based full time, in-office in Palmdale, CA.
This position has significant leadership contact and requires a candidate with strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to perform in an environment of ambiguity and continuous change.

Support Engineering leadership and acting as a strategic partner and consultant to position the organization to meet long term vision and strategyFocus on future functional homeroom growth, strengthening, and optimizing the function and will require business acumen, leadership engagement and high levels of emotional intelligence to meet both the current and future needsInfluence peers, and all levels of management to include executivesImplement change management practices to shift culture and drive changes in leadership behaviorEstablish strong business relationships with client leadership teams and create effective partnerships across HR, centers of excellence (COE’s), business management, sector functions as well as operating divisionsLeadership Development—focus on strong succession planning and strategic leadership movement. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree AND 7 years of related Human Resources experience that includes a background in progressive HR roles and project management, OR a Master’s degree AND 5 years of related Human Resources experience that includes a background in progressive HR roles and project managementAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business
