The Human Resources Manager supports employees and managers in the El Paso, Texas call center. The day-to-day work of this role will support all stages of the employee lifecycle including answering general questions, facilitating manager training, and partnering with managers to resolve employee relations issues. The HR Manager will work closely with the rest of the HR team to ensure the delivery of global projects and division specific process improvements.

DESCRIPTION

Partner with managers to understand and resolve employee relations issues including providing guidance on company policies and procedures, advising on disciplinary action, writing performance improvement plans, and addressing general concerns.Conduct employment-related investigations.Support processes through the employee lifecycle including performance management, organizational change, and conduct issues.Review employee handbooks and make updates as required.Review federal, state, and local compliance changes such as paid sick leave and recommend policy changes where appropriate.Develop and deliver trainings for managers on various topics such as corrective actions and annual compliance training for employees.Review HR processes and suggest changes to improve efficiency and scalability.Conducts new hire orientation and ensures I-9 process and general onboarding is properly completed.Terminations process: ensure termination procedure is properly completed; ensure required documentation is completed and submittedPerform other special projects or duties when required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent5 to 7 years experience in HR; a minimum of 3 years as an experienced Generalist/HR Business PartnerProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointInitiative and the ability to prioritize a must.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience using Workday highly desirable
