Human Resources Manager

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager. This position is based at our Indianapolis, IN distribution center. 

 

The HR Manager will be responsible to provide HR leadership and support to site staff and employees in the implementation and deployment of Human Resources policies, programs, and initiatives.

This role will provide a great opportunity to advance HR skills. This is a feeder opportunity to regional large plant HR manager positions. The successful candidate is mobile and passionate about providing HR leadership in a dynamic distribution center environment.

 

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03  - $134200.04 a year.

What you’ll do: Serve as primary full-spectrum generalist HR support Deploying HR policies, programs, and initiatives, including but not limited to employment, compensation, labor relations, training, talent acquisition and development, and work practices to improve the organizational capability within the RegionOwn the site data reporting and analyses process; provide suggested actions to the HRVP, HRDs; monitor the performance of HR key indicators, HR programs and initiatives allowing a data-based decision-making process; ensure integrity in all HR systems with timely and accurate data entry and regular auditsComplete accurate monthly headcount forecasting and reporting in partnership with FinanceSupport regional projects – related to talent, culture and organizational structure needsSupport site recruiting, including interviews and selection; ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, laws, and goalsAssist managers and employees with understanding and applying HR tools to improve organization performance and drive culture including performance management, employee development, succession planning and retentionConduct investigations on employee relations and ethics matters; providing summary reports and recommended actions to regional HRDs; support activities and processes to promote positive employee relationsCollaborate with HR Services on transactional HR mattersQualifications:

 Required Basic Qualifications: 

Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution  Minimum of three (3) years experience in human resources Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the futureNo relocation is available for this position. Only candidates that reside within 50 miles of Indianapolis, IN will be considered. Active Duty Military service members are exempt from this geographical limitation. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Five (5) years experience in human resources Master’s Degree from an accredited institution Distribution Center and/or Manufacturing experience Experience with data analytics 
 Skills: Strong business mindset and aptitude to gather and analyze dataDemonstrated track record of good judgment and decision-makingAbility to influence othersIntellectual curiosity that drives new and more efficient ways of doing thingsCommunicates candidly, while fostering a trusting environmentAuthentically models Eaton’s leader attributes and aspirational goals
