We are seeking a strong human resource professional with proven work experience as an HR manager to join our growing company. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining our positive employee relations culture, where everyone understands how important they are to B&K's success. You will collaborate with managers and our field leaders to create lasting relationships and make a positive impact on the business.
What you’ll do:
+ Ensure positive employee relations and build the B&K culture based on our Core values
+ Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to:
+ Compensation
+ Benefits and leave
+ Disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations
+ Performance and talent management
+ Productivity, recognition, and morale
+ Takes the lead in our workforce development strategy to continue to have B&K as the premier mechanical contractor.
+ Manages the talent acquisition process, ensuring we maintain high standards of attracting the best.
+ Ensure all recruiting activity and documentation is managed in B&K’s applicant tracking system and accordance with affirmative action policies
+ Responsible for new employee orientations, ensuring the employee experience is exceptional.
+ Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
+ Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
+ Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
+ Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
+ Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
+ Performs periodic audits of HR records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
+ Successfully establish and maintain professional relationships with employees and all levels of management
What you’ll need (minimum qualifications):
+ Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
+ 5-8 years minimum HR experience required
+ Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
+ Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Nice to have:
+ Advanced skills in Excel
+ PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/CHRL/CPHR.
