Human Resources Manager

Summary: This position is responsible for the management and overseeing of all functions of the Human Resources Department, including recruitment, hiring, training, retention, recognition, investigations, employee benefits, and operating the Employee Services Office and the Scheduling Office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for high volume domestic grassroots recruitment, staffing, international worker program, training, staff development, recognition and retentionEnsure Team Member schedules are completed in the appropriate time frame and meet the department needs while providing a smooth process for employeesEnsure compliance with Federal and State employment laws/regulationsEnsure all staff has access to available IT tools necessary to perform dutiesOversees staffing needs and develop recruiting pipelines to fill those needsInteract with the Shared Services benefits team to facilitate programs at the parkConduct workplace investigations and partner with Corporate Human Resources to appropriately address harassment, discrimination and other employee relations concerns.Develop and implement employee retention programs to maintain staff morale and retain quality employeesCollaborate with Corporate Training and Development to implement a comprehensive training program focused on delivery of a superior guest experience and operational excellenceTrain Supervisors on critical management and leadership skillsCoordinate team member communication regarding events, policy changes, park information, team member recognition and other programsOperate within budgetary guidelines and complete monthly budget forecastingActively seek new ways to foster continuous improvement within areas of responsibility in order to provide a high quality, professional, consistent, and cohesive service to all Team MembersAll other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

5+ years supervisory or managerial experienceBachelor degree in Human Resources Management or a related field preferredExperience executing labor lawsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be professional, energetic, self-motivated, able to motivate others, and have a positive attitudeStrong teamwork skills and ability to work productively across various departmentsStrong work ethic with the ability to work well under pressure and multi-taskComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office ProductsFlexible Schedule required including nights, weekends, and holidays
