THE WORK

As a Human Resource Manager you will provide HR strategy and execution and day-to-day support to the Vice President and leadership team and be responsible personnel support for the program office. As a key member of our HR leadership team, Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Employee engagement and events, talent recognition, local D&I engagement, facilities support, and external county/city engagement in support of LM business leadership as appropriate.

As a trusted advisor, the HR leader will be able to positively influence and impact the organization by building strong relationships and offering innovative solutions. With a comprehensive understanding of the Market Segment business strategy while shaping HR solutions to fit business needs.

The HR leader will be responsible for; succession planning, talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, EEO, and/or training and development.

This HR leader will be a self-starter with the ability to exercise strong influencing and decision-making skills as well as be a strong communicator who shares knowledge and best practices to drive organizational efficiency and integration. Must be able to effectively build relationships and interact with executive leadership.

This HR leader will be responsible for effectively partnering with RMS and C6ISR HR colleagues and leadership across multiple locations in support of the business and workforce, embodying Program as a Unit of Action. The successful candidate will also be responsible for leading special projects as assigned.

Note: This role will be based out of our Liverpool, NY or Owego, NY office and will involve 20-25% travel.

Basic Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable in one HR disciplines to include Employee Relations, Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, Talent & Organizational Capability, Compensation
- Experience coaching, influencing, building, and leveraging effective relationships to influence decisions through partnering
- Experience supporting executive level leaders
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to message appropriately at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in utilizing and leveraging data and analytics to track success, make decisions, understand program effectiveness, and drive action
- Proven ability to navigate from strategy development to process execution, including development of detailed projects plans
- Experience influencing and advocating HR solutions
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience in HR Center of Excellence, such as Compensation, Labor Relations, Global Diversity & Inclusion, and Talent & Organizational Capability
- Prior HRBP experience supporting functional or line of business organizations
- Experience and knowledge of org design principles and methodology
- Execute programs that have a direct business impact.
- Develop project plans, identify stakeholders, prepare corresponding communication plans, identifying milestones, deadlines, and metrics to assess outcomes/results
- Involvement leading or supporting the design, configuration, testing, and/or implementation of new HR technologies for a large organization
- Experience in evaluating, developing, and implementing operational improvements

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $107,400 - $205,900. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $123,500 - $232,800.
