SUMMARY
ASM GLOBAL, the leader in privately managed public facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Human Resources Administration Manager at ASM GLOBAL Oakland Arena and RingCentral Coliseum. This position oversees all Human Resources day-to-day transactional operations as well as administration and maintenance of all facility HR programs. This position reports directly to the Sr. Human Resources Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Follows ASM GLOBAL Human Resources policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions. Maintains compliance with state and local regulations concerning employment.
+ Ensures compliance with, and executes duties and deliverables as required by the CBA agreement in place for each union organization at the location. Builds positive relationships and partnerships with union representatives and their organizations.
+ Manages HRIS database information and works closely with accounting department for payroll purposes.
+ Manages HRIS records and compiles reports from database for day-to-day utilization as directed.
+ Enhances communications and employee involvement with management to foster increased productivity, positive employee relations and good customer service.
+ Manages personnel files and any other HR-related administrative functions, in a high-quality confidential manner.
+ Conducts new hire orientation, detailing required paperwork, company policies, and benefits information following ASM Global procedures and guidelines.
+ Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
+ Performs recruitment activities. Writes and places advertisements. Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
+ Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and 401k, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting for union, non-union and exempt personnel.
+ Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Advises the corporate office of EEOC complaints and other employee relations problems.
+ Responds to employee/management inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and company programs.
+ Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance for union, non-union, and exempt employees.
+ Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
+ Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university Preferred.
+ 4+ years related human resources experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working in a multi-union environment and/or entertainment industry highly preferred.
+ Experience preparing human resources transactions such as personnel action forms, benefits, payroll, requests for leave, sick and/or vacation pay.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
+ Solid knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration.
+ Solid understanding of California wage/hour regulations, meal/rest periods, and California Paid Sick Leave.
+ Familiarity with FMLA/CFRA and related local, state, and federal regulations required.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are essential.
+ Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

+ Close vision for review of information on a PC monitor and hard copy output.
+ Manual dexterity for regular use of hands for typing is required.
+ May spend long hours in sitting at computer viewing computer monitor.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
+ Human Resources Certification preferred—PHR or SHRM-CP
COMPUTER SKILLS
+ Operate a personal computer using Windows and Microsoft Office suite. Must be proficient in Excel.
+ Previous experience with ADP, ABI, Workday strongly preferred. Ability to extract data for reporting/auditing from HRIS systems.
HOURS OF WORK AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
+ Travel minimal.
+ Must have the ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours during events.
