Position Summary and Purpose: CI is excited to welcome an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to our team! This pivotal role partners closely with the Director of Human Resources to drive daily HR operations across key areas, including recruitment, benefits, compensation, employee and labor relations, compliance, and learning and development. Essential Responsibilities: + Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources to implement HR strategies that align with company objectives by managing projects and driving initiatives in talent acquisition, staffing, benefits, compensation, and employee relations. + Manage the day-to-day HR operations including assisting the HR team with benefits, recruiting and employee questions, learning and development, productivity, performance management, individual and department goals. + Accomplish special project results by identifying issues and priorities. + Assist the Director of Human Resources with Compensation administration - will be responsible for wage and salary surveys, as well as updating profit sharing, bonus and incentive plans. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including new legislation. + Foster positive employee relations through social events and other team building activities + Supports the corporate values, employer of choice philosophy and enhancing the employee experience journey from hiring to firing Education and Experience: + Bachelor's degree in human resource management or equivalent + 8-10 years of progressive human resource management + Labor relations experience, a plus + SPHR/PHR or SHRM-SCP/CP certification + HRIS and payroll experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: + Knowledgeable of all state and federal wage and hours laws and paid leave laws + Ability to problem solve, make relevant suggestions, and use sound judgment + Excellent written, verbal, active listening and presentation skills + Ability to work effectively with employees in all departments as well as company leadership + Ability to maintain complete confidentiality with all employee information including compensation, discipline and personal data + Strong business acumen + Active listener and critical thinker + Show concern for others, integrity, and positivity + Possesses negotiating skills, time management, planning, project management and organizational skills + Must possess flexibility and orientation toward innovation and change + Ability to maintain a pleasant and cooperative working relationship with all employees and external contacts in the performance of Human Resources duties + Must be able to balance the best interests of the company with empathy and concern for the needs of employees + Servant leadership style and high customer service approach to HR preferred + Good familiarity and expertise with applicant tracking systems, human resources information systems software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Google.
