The Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in overseeing all HR functions, ensuring alignment with our company values, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic partner to leadership while managing day-to-day HR operations. This is a hands-on role in a growing company, where your innovative ideas and problem-solving abilities will make a meaningful impact.
Employee Relations
+ Foster a positive work environment through strong relationship-building and conflict resolution.
+ Serve as a trusted advisor and mediator for management and staff.
Talent Acquisition and Retention
+ Manage full-cycle recruiting, from creating job postings to onboarding new hires.
+ Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and reduce turnover.
Compliance and Risk Management
+ Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, safety standards, and company policies.
+ Conduct regular audits and reviews of HR procedures to mitigate risks.
Performance Management
+ Oversee employee performance reviews and build tools to support continuous feedback and development.
+ Collaborate with leadership to address performance gaps and identify training opportunities.
Training and Development
+ Design and deliver employee training programs to meet individual and organizational goals.
+ Maintain a focus on helping employees achieve professional success.
HR Administration
+ Administer benefits, payroll, and leaves of absence in partnership with external vendors as applicable.
+ Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR systems.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR professional.
+ Proficiency in using HRIS platforms such as ADP, Workday, Kronos, or similar software.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization.
+ Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
+ Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational tasks.
+ (Preferred) PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
