Human Resources Manager
Position Summary We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team of dedicated professionals. This position will be hybrid out of White Plains (NY) with occasional travel to our Manhattan (NY) office. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for supporting firmwide employee relations.  Primary Responsibilities + Supervision of assigned Human Resources Assistants and Coordinators  + Act as the primary HR contact for employees and managers for East Coast employee base, addressing workplace issues confidentially and promptly + Manage and lead employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution, coaching, policy interpretation, and ensuring a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment + Assist in drafting, reviewing, and delivering Performance Improvement Plans + Partner with Training Manager, Leadership & Development Manager, Chief Human Resources Officer and business leaders to complete annual performance management processes, fostering feedback, accountability, and professional growth + Act as a mentor and coach, addressing challenges proactively + Foster a culture of collaboration while ensuring clear communication of expectations and priorities + Enforce HR policies and compliance with employment laws and promote best practices + Travel to NYC office once per week is required + Other projects and duties as assigned Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years in similar role is required  + Master’s Degree, PHR/SHRM and 7+ years in similar role is preferred + Knowledge of applicable labor laws, employment laws, labor standards, industry regulations and best practices, specifically in New York + Ensure accuracy in documentation, compliance with laws, and adherence to company policies + Ability to mediate workplace disagreements and provide solutions to employee issues + Manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, ensuring smooth HR operations + Analyze HR metrics and data to make informed decisions and improve HR processes + Plan, execute and monitor HR projects to completion  + Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) + Familiarity with ADP, Workday and Trello a plus + Strong verbal and written communication as well as consultative skills with those across all levels of the organization About Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman Founded in 1967, Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman ("GRF") is a leading full-service business management firm for an exclusive assortment of entertainers, executives and select high net worth individuals. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
