Human Resources Manager
Transdev in Denver, Colorado is hiring a Human Resources Manager. This position supports the management team with full cycle recruiting and other HR-related responsibilities. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.
This position requires working on-site at our location: 100 West 64th Ave, Denver, CO 80221

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $70,000 – maximum $80,000
Benefits include:

Creates a strategic partnership/relationship with operating management in overall day-to-day operational activities, including the development of strategies and initiatives on human resource policies and practicesAdministers, assists and monitors the interpretation and compliance of company policy and procedures, discipline, strategic employee relations, and relationship initiatives within a union and non-union environment.Assists with job recruitment, by drafting job descriptions, posting positions, assisting with resume screening, phone interviews and in person interviews.Able to support business needs with HIPAA/PHI, SOC2 audits, employee relations, hiring, employee engagement and promote a safe, respectable and fair work environment.Provides advice and support for location management team, employee relation matters, dispute resolution, and maintains current employee files, and other Human Resources filesInputs and develops with operating management proactive employee relations strategies for both union and non-union salaried, driver, and shop personnel.Provide advice, support, and communications to location managers on employee relations matters, data and contingencies, dispute resolution, handbook interpretation and administration, employee disciplinary matters, labor code, human rights, and other statutory obligations, utilizing legal and other resources when necessary.Maintains awareness of human resource trends, practices, or legislation affecting employment-related programs, policies, or procedures.Good understanding of State of Colorado Employment Laws (FLMA, FLMI, HFWA)Recruitment and full-cycle onboarding in an ATS systemOther responsibilities as needed and assigned
To be a Human Resource Manager, you'll need the following:
Five (5) or more years of relevant direct experience managing human resource and labor relation aspects of a public transit service (preferred)Experience with recruitment and terminationsExperience with benefits and compensationAdministering employee files for customer and company for monthly auditsA solid understanding of Labor Relations desiredOther relevant Human Resources qualificationsSubject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
