Human Resources Manager

Arhaus is looking for a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and well-organized Human Resources Manager to join our team at our Dallas Distribution site.  This key role will function as an internal business partner to help build organizational capability s by effectively managing human resources.  The Human Resource Manager will ensure that company HR programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and cultural values.  This  opportunity will be responsible for fully engaging the associate and leadership team to truly understand our internal customers' needs.  Your impact goes beyond policies; it shapes a culture of engagement and customer focus that empowers every member of our organization.

Key fundamental skill sets for this role will be:

Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related issues. Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and effectively. Foster a positive work environment through engagement and recognition programs. Implement performance appraisal processes and tools to evaluate employee performance. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management issues. Develop strategies to improve overall employee productivity and satisfaction. Design and implement employee retention strategies Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for employees. Promote a culture of continuous learning and growth within the organization. Organize and conduct training sessions on various HR topics as needed. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures. Maintain employee records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Administer compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and fairness. Provide guidance on salary and compensation issues to managers and employees. Assist in the evaluation and negotiation of employee benefits packages. Utilize HR systems to record, analyze, and report HR metrics and trends. Prepare regular reports on HR activities for management review. Use data-driven insights to inform HR strategies and decision-making.

 

Requirements will be:

Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in human resources management, labor relation, or equivalent is preferred. Relevant experience in a similar role will be considered in lieu of a Degree. Excellent knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant agencies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with computer skills. (MS Word and Excel) Experience in human resources or related field. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues. Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations. Excellent organization and time management skills, flexibility, and ability to maintain confidentiality  Must be a team player, detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Project management experience with multiple stakeholders — prioritizing and delegating projects/tasks. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize.

 

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations.
