**What will you do?**
A day in the life of a Human Resources Manager at VF looks a little like this.
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for supporting the overall business strategy through effective people practices at our Danville, KY Distribution Center. As the most senior HR person onsite, you will partner with the DC Leadership team on communication, policy and program implementation, staffing plans, talent acquisition, talent management, compensation, benefits, training and development and employee relations. This position reports directly to the Senior Director, Human Resources – AMER Distribution and partners with the DC HR team to develop processes and strategies across the DC network.

+ _Lead and execute all HR strategies and communications within the distribution center._
+ _Ensure that full-time and temporary staffing requirements are met to support the needs of the business._
+ _Manage employee relations matters onsite and partner with VF’s Employee Relations team when appropriate._
+ _Coordinate overall training and development efforts to ensure consistency with corporate-wide initiatives._
+ _Support ongoing Talent Development and succession planning initiatives._
+ _Control Human Resources related costs including turnover, recruitment, employee engagement and department budgets._
+ _Provide expertise and thought leadership, create synergies and leverage knowledge, best practices, and resources across the business._
+ _Lead, develop, and support onsite HR Specialist._
+ _Monitor administration of compensation and benefits, working closely with VF’s Compensation and Benefit teams to ensure compliance._
+ _Work closely with Senior Director, Human Resources and VF’s People Services team to ensure compliance with VF policies and procedures._
**What do you need to succeed?**

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
+ _Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business, or related field_
+ _5+ years of overall HR experience; a minimum 1-year management experience preferred_
+ _Comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources best practices_
+ _Strong knowledge of employee relations, labor relations, employment/wage/hour law, as it relates to the workforce in Kentucky_
+ _Strong working knowledge with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)_
+ _Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal_
+ _Excellent planning, scheduling and problem-solving skills_
+ _Ability to pro-actively execute and manage multiple tasks_
+ _Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and time constraints_
+ _Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills are required; ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze new issues is critical_
+ _Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style_
+ _Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization including other departments, operations, and management_
+ _Travel – less than 10%_

**Hiring Range** **:**
$80,960.00 USD - $101,200.00 USD annually
**Incentive Potential** : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
