Human Resources Manager- Full-Time - Manhattan, NY
**Req Number** 149696 FlexStaff New York City, NY (in-person with the potential to work 4 days a week) Our client is seeking a motivated and self-driven Human Resources Manager to join their dynamic team! As the HR Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for 90+ employees, playing a pivotal role in cultivating a positive workplace culture. This standalone position requires strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional HR services. Responsibilities: - Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate calculations, record-keeping, and compliance with local regulations. - Reconcile payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and submit funding files to third-party vendors. - Process terminations and generate payroll reports for finance, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws. - Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and 401(k) plans, and respond to employee inquiries regarding these benefits. - Conduct benefits orientations for new employees and ensure timely enrollment and status changes. - Manage leave paperwork including FMLA, disability, and other employee status changes. - Oversee HR compliance requirements such as EEOC filing and audits. - Collaborate with hiring managers to analyze hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. - Review and update job descriptions, post open positions, and conduct initial candidate screenings. - Coordinate interviews and support hiring decisions. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. - At least two years of experience in Human Resources, with payroll experience preferred. - SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential is a plus. - Strong understanding of HR best practices and current regulations. - Excellent judgment, problem-solving skills, and HRIS experience. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word with strong verbal and written communication skills. *Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
