Under the direction of the Human Resources Director and Assistant Director, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, consistency and results of the Human Resources function. The Details: Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round Pay: $55,952+ per year Housing: 2 bedroom unit offered at $222 per month Schedule: May include weekends, evenings, and holidays. Responsibilities Oversee the administrative functions of the Human Resources Office including Employee Benefits, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Human Resources Generalist and Administrative Support Work closely with recruitment, housing, employee benefits and department managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process Oversee the coordination of pre-arrival communication and process for domestic and international (J1) students including a strong partnership with institutions, and tracking onboarding database and reporting Oversee the employee benefits program and provide support when needed Oversee and streamline the leave of absence and ADA process and workplace safety Oversee HR related payroll reconciliation and timely processing of personnel information and status updates in the HRIS system (CloudSuite and Kronos) Work closely with the corporate office regarding the implementation of the compensation strategy reflective of internal equity and changes including employee communication Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations Maintain and strengthen employee relationships and assist them as needed Identify and recommend improvements and champion recognition and morale building engagement Oversee and ensure the confidentiality of personnel records with the highest standards Ensure unemployment claims are processed in accordance with the law Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience required Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in progressively responsible human resources management roles Strong knowledge of employee benefits, employee relations, HRIS systems and personnel data maintenance Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written skills Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Excellent organization skills and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate and complete projects on time Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations Proficient with or the ability to learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems Ability to analyze data to guide strategic employment planning Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
