Job Description

ProSidian Seeks a Human Resources Operational And Business Support Specialist located in located in The Hanford Tri-Cities Area (Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) to support an engagement for the US Dept. of Energy (DOE) Hanford in Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities - Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area. 

The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide General Support Services Contractor (GSSC) assistance to support DOE Hanford [which consists of Richland Operations Office (RL), and Office of River Protection (ORP)] in support of the Govt’s operations, personnel management, and general administration of regional operations at the Hanford Site in Richland, Washington. 

ProSidian Consulting's work includes supporting DOE requirements for consulting support, acquisition support, program/project management support, operational/administrative business support, and environmental consulting support.  It is also ProSidian's duty to protect all classified information, special nuclear material, and other DOE property and work in accordance with DOE security regulations and requirements to maintain responsibility for protecting all classified information and all classified matter (including documents, material and special nuclear material) which are in every Engagement Team Member's possession and in connection with the performance of work under this contract against sabotage, espionage, loss or theft.

AMB HR Op&Admin Business Support Candidates shall work to support requirements as a Human Resources Operational And Business Support Specialist and provide Human Resources (HR) Operations General Support Services Support to HR Business Personnel, Agency Partners, and Organizational Liaisons within the Department of Energy on behalf of The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Richland Operations Office (RL), Assistant Manager for Business and Financial Operations (AMB).

Assist the Awards and Recognition Program Administrator with preparing award justifications for review, locating and completing supporting documents, and monitoring awards workflows in the appropriate systems.Assist with processing award actions, within 5 days of receipt, in the employee awards system and DOE Corporate HR IT system.Assist with completing quarterly inventory audits and monitoring organizational budgets.Initiate manually or electronically Standard Form 50 (SF50) and related forms and documents to affect the full range of personnel actions.Maintain on-line data in any automated personnel subsystems.Serve as RL system administration and the ORP backup administrator for Electronic Performance (ePerformance), and assists with end of year performance spreadsheet submission for processing.Assists with the onboarding process for all new employees on all aspects of employee HR needs.Manage the electronic position description (PD) libraries; identify and make corrections/modifications to position descriptions (PDs) and convert to word format for review by Classification.  Assist with studies, analyses, scenarios, and reports relating to RL/ORP personnel-related programs or initiatives.Assist with development, interpretation, and implementation of local policies, regulations, and guidance.Answer general questions from supervisors and employees regarding procedures for classifying and staffing positions.Provide support to the Human Resources Information Systems administrator, including DOE Info and the Human Resources Reporting Application.Assist employees and supervisors in preparing paperwork related to HR actions to include but not limited to within grade increases, career ladder promotions, and benefits related documents.Contact individual employees or supervisors to resolve questions before initiating personnel actions within 3 days of receipt.Provide customers information on HR systems, processes and procedures.Provide support to HR Business Partners and ER/LR Specialists involved in one or more HR functional areas.Assist Senior HR Business Partner and Organizational Liaison with the creation of the Human Capital Management Plan, Succession Plan, and Reorganization Packages.Draft and update organizational charts.Draft reports of analysis, scenarios relating to RL/ORP personnel related programs or initiatives based on due dated given to the organization.Maintain files, position description library, and other HR information documents on the HRAO shared drive.

Qualifications

The Human Resources Operational And Business Support Specialist shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

4 years of relevant experienceHigh School DiplomaStrong technical, administrative, organizational, and records maintenance capabilitiesProficiency in word processing equipment/personal computer using Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; database and internet management tools.Ability to manage work environment and workload with minimum of supervision based on knowledge of work priorities.U.S. Citizenship

TRAVEL:  Travel may be required

LOCATION:  Work shall be conducted at the Department of Energy - Richland Operations Office, The Hanford Site, and Richland, WA.
