Human Resources People Partner

Miracle-Ear, part of Amplifon Americas, a world leader in hearing care, has a strong demand for diverse, authentic, creative, and dynamic talent for a HR People Partner role in our Miracle-Ear Flagship business unit. In this role you will partner with the Miracle-Ear Flagship organization to deliver our results through engaged and motivated team members.  As a key member of the organization, you will interface locally enabling the organization to achieve our performance goals, culture goals, and create a sustainable foundation for continued growth. This position is a blended role between strategic and tactical execution and is the primary point of contact for all leaders within assigned business units.

This is a hybrid role with requirement to be based in the Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, or Waco, TX area.

Responsibilities

Provides day-to-day performance management and employee relations guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, corrective actions). Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Manages the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees. Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required. Works closely with management and employees to improve engagement, build motivation, and increase productivity and retention. Provides HR policy creation, guidance, and interpretation. Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Education and Experience:

5+  years of experience in managing employee relations. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws. Bachelor’s degree preferred.  SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred.

Required Skills: 

Effective verbal and written communication skills.  Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies. Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Robust analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
