Human Resources People Partner, Behavioral HealthMonday through Friday/8:00 am to 5:00 pm/Rocky HillsAs a HR People Partner in Behavioral Health, you will lead HR functions and initiatives for your assigned territory, serving as a strategic advisor to leadership and a trusted resource for employees. With a strong emphasis on conflict resolution and employee relations, you’ll help foster a positive work environment and drive the HR strategy to support Elara Caring’s mission of delivering high-quality, home-based care. This hybrid role offers flexibility, with work-from-home days and on-site support at our Rocky Hills location.

Key Responsibilities:Strategic HR Support: Act as a trusted advisor to branch management by providing HR guidance and assisting with onboarding, ensuring leaders are equipped to implement HR practices effectively.
Employee Relations: Handle a range of employee relations issues, including performance concerns, interpersonal conflicts, and disciplinary actions, with thorough, objective investigations to ensure fair and effective resolutions.
Conflict Resolution: Utilize mediation and conflict resolution strategies to address and resolve issues between employees and management, fostering a collaborative and positive workplace.
Performance Management: Provide coaching and support for career development, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
Workplace Engagement: Lead and implement engagement programs such as the Elara Heroes recognition platform, online acknowledgment tools, and the Elara Care app to enhance team morale and engagement.
Policy Guidance & Compliance: Offer policy interpretation and ensure adherence to state, CMS, and accreditation standards, maintaining accurate HR records in coordination with the HR Coordinator.
Metrics & Analysis: Collaborate with HRD and operational leaders to analyze HR trends and metrics, using insights to identify opportunities for improvement in areas such as employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
HR Service Coordination: Ensure exceptional service delivery by coordinating with HR Service Centers, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, and Payroll for streamlined HR support.
Proactive Issue Resolution: Address employee and manager concerns proactively to promote a positive employee experience, helping to resolve issues before they escalate.

Qualifications:Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree OR a High School Diploma with 2-5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner.
HR Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws, employee relations practices, and HR Management Systems (Workday preferred).
Skills: Expertise in conflict resolution, performance management, and coaching, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Highly Preferred Background: Experience in the healthcare industry, especially in home health or hospice care, is advantageous.
