**Job Summary:**
**Key Responsibilities:**
Recruitment
+ Developing and posting job descriptions for new faculty and staff
+ Serves as the liaison on all search committees, reviewing candidate applications, screening and recommending applicants for interview, completing recruitment matrices to disposition candidates, and preparing search summaries.
+ Manage communication with all candidates throughout the application process
+ Coordinates with Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) liaison to ensure all recruitment and new hire transactions are entered in a timely manner and completed accurately.
Onboarding/Offboarding
+ Develop, implement, and coordinate all Department specific faculty and staff onboarding and offboarding initiatives.
+ Communicate with pertinent staff regarding timeline of new hire onboarding and offboarding
+ Work with HRSS liaison to obtain provider credentialing through CU Medicine and applicable hospitals.
Staff Performance Management
+ In support of staff promotions, create job description in collaboration with supervisor. Obtain salary approval, process promotion smartsheet submission, and update HCM
+ Create and maintain electronic Faculty and Staff personnel files. Develop an audit process for reviewing files.
Other Duties
+ Create and maintain process to ensure Faculty Information Management System (FIMS) is current and aligns with current data in the Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
+ Develops and maintains a Department roster. Updates dashboards and responds to data requests as necessary.
+ Assists Business Services Manager with preparing personnel dashboard for use in salary setting (Table 1 process) bi-annually.
+ Facilitates the Department Human Resources Monthly meetings. Communicates minutes with Chair and necessary departmental staff.
+ Stay up-to-date on HR Policies and Procedures as communicated by SOM HR and Central HR and share updates with Department faculty and staff
+ Maintain the Department HR intranet site with pertinent policies and procedures
+ Attend SOM HR and Campus HR meetings
+ Network with other HR professionals across campus and share/learn best practices.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
Principal Professional
+ A bachelor's degree in public administration, public policy, business, higher education administration, social sciences, behavioral sciences or a directly related field from an accredited institution
+ 3+ years of professional level experience working in human resources, faculty affairs, or another related position in higher education.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Peoplesoft and CU Careers Experience
+ Workflow management experience through Smartsheet, Docusign and other related tools
+ Experience working with CU and CU Medicine policies and procedures related to human resource management.
+ Experience developing departmental procedures
+ Experience working in an academic medical center

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy Program are home to more than 350 faculty (volunteer or paid), staff and students. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for managing the human resources function of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. This includes, but is not limited to, recruitment, onboarding, appointments, leave reporting, transaction management, and employee performance management. The position will need to navigate the complexities of a complex academic medical center and multiple systems in order to successfully manage and execute responsibilities.
- this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 10 days per month on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.
