Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Recruiting Coordinator to join our team and support our talent acquisition efforts. This role will play a crucial part in attracting and hiring top talent for our organization. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for open positions.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for candidates and interviewers.
• Assist with the implementation of new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
• Maintain compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
• Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
• Stay updated on trends, best practices, and new technologies in recruiting and talent acquisition.
• Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
• Assist with maintaining candidate and employee data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy.
• Team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Customer service-oriented with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience

• Previous experience in recruiting or HR is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of recruiting tools and platforms is a plus.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems quickly.

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
