Position Title: Human Resources/Recruiting Coordinator Pay Range: $23.11-$33/Hr Location: Wolcott, Colorado – (On Site) ABOUT GALLEGOS Since 1970, The Gallegos Corporation has excelled in specialty stone and masonry construction. POSITION PURPOSE The human resources department is dedicated to partnering with our internal clients to maximize the potential of our greatest asset -our employees. This position assists in the creating and maintenance of HR forms or documents, answers basic employee questions, schedules interviews, orientations or training sessions. It also assists in benefit administration, inputs HR related data into our HRIS and complies standards reporting for management reviews. Overall, the role performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of the human resource department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES + Assists with recruitment functions, including accessing our ATS to schedule interviews or completing phone screenings. + Completes pre-employment stages including reference checks and background screenings for all candidates; Creates and sends offer letters to candidates and hires them within the HRIS system. + Assists with onboarding processes including employment documents and education to new hires during onboarding. + Creates and maintains employee files, both electronic and physical. + Covers front office and phone when needed. + Process temporary worker payroll files and submit them under the direction of Payroll Administrator. + Assists auto/DMV, and background screening processes and communicates timely with necessary individuals, both internal and external. + Aids in department projects and initiatives that support department and organizational goals. + Assists with G3 and anniversary recognition programs; assists with corporate and divisional events. + Attends events as identified by the Sr. Human Resources Manager. + Processes benefit enrollments (Health and 401K); Assists Sr. Human Resources Manager during Open Enrollment. + Other Duties as assigned. + Models the Gallegos values and mission. + This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. REQUIREMENTS + 1-2 years of clerical experience required; 1-2 years of Human Resources experience preferred. + HRIS experience preferred. + Capable of maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in difficult situations; strong attention to detail. + Must have a valid driver's license. + High school diploma. COMPUTER/TYPING: + Knowledge with MS Office suite, SharePoint, and ADP or similar HRIS platform. LANGUAGE ABILITY: + Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English. Spanish language is preferred.
