Human Resources Representative
Description

Supports all members of the Human Resources Team as needed and is the key service representative to all staff members and management.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Greets and assists all guest and employee inquiries with a positive attitude.

Answers phones and makes follow-up calls.

Files paperwork and ensures proper records are maintained.

Maintains the HR drop boxes and distributes to appropriate HR personnel.

Ensures all HR forms are available in the brochure racks.

Maintains strict confidentiality.

Assists with Human Resources employee events.

Assists with all areas of Human Resources.

Conducts wage surveys as needed.

Stays informed on Human Resources laws and regulations and internal policies and procedures.

Makes copies of forms, new hire packets, Induction packets, etc as needed.

Coordinates the perfect attendance yearly program.

Maintains and updates the property phone list.

Orders departmental supplies for HR personnel and employee events.

Facilitates the monthly recognition program for employee birthdays.

Tracks and sells discount tickets to employees and provides counts to finance as needed.

Coordinates and assists with retail store of marketing items.

Tracks guest comments for employee recognition.

Processes out termed employees and distributes “live” checks.

Supports any data entry needs of the HR personnel.

Creates and distributes employee badges and name tags.

Must be actively at work to perform essential functions of the job.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required

A. Knowledge: The level of education, experience, and training an individual must have at minimum to be considered qualified for the position.

B. Skills: Specific skills such as computer usage, communication, 10-key touch, etc.

C. Abilities: The physical components of the job and how the physical aspect is accomplished. Does the position require LIFTING 50 pounds, or does it require one to MOVE 50 pounds. Can the 50 pounds be moved using a dolly or cart? (Examples: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, color vision, etc.)

High School diploma general education (GED)

Knowledgeable in all aspects of Human Resources.

Must have basic computer skills.

Must have the ability to have fun while on duty.

Exceptional guest service.

Must have great oral and written communication skills.

Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

Highly self-motivated and directed.

Keen attention to detail.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Excellent telephone skills required.

Ability to multi-task.

Training

All employees are required to complete mandatory compliance training within thirty (30) days of hire date, then annually thereafter. Training marked with an asterisk below must be completed prior to reporting to their respective work area. The below courses are required for this position:
