at every level within the organizationThe Human Resources Representative provides support for HR processes and services at the Hartford Region and acts as a liaison between employees and the HR Service Center This position has a special focus on orientation onboarding of new hires that results in best in class colleague experience and outstanding customer service Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following Manage onboarding of new colleagues to ensure a timely start and to achieve a positive and seamless new hire experience Coordinate all orientation activities such as working with all subject matter experts who participate in the orientation present HR topics continuously review content for relevance measure success of orientation obtain feedback on orientation and implement improvements Serve as the main point of contact for questions related to orientation onboarding and years of experience data Coordinate all processes related to contractor onboarding to include communicate with managers and maintenance of contractor dataManage I process and meet federal compliance requirements Manage all aspects of employee file maintenance and postings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Assist in the collection and compilation of various HR metrics reports and analytics Act as a liaison between employees and the HHC Employee Service Center ie KRONOSpayroll benefits compensation central leave talent acquisitionAssist Employee Relations Consultants with policy updates and publish revised policies in the appropriate electronic policy management systemIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes and colleague experience Learn and apply LEAN methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of HR programs and servicesWork experienceAdditional Requirementsbull Advanced Microsoft Office skills proficient in Word Excel and PowerPointbull Working knowledge of HR related laws and regulationsbull Exceptional communication and customer service bull Self directed and motivated with the ability to prioritizebull Strong problem solving skills and process improvement mindsetbull Ability to uphold strict confidentiality of
